Google says today's Phishing Scam problem has been fixed, Here's what you need to know if you think you've been affected


Earlier today a very aggressive and sneaky Phishing scheme made it's way into A TON of people's email inboxes. If this is the first you're hearing about it, CLICK HERE to get the low down on the whole situation.

Since then, Google has put some of their best and brightest on the case and claim to have a resolution that will prevent this issue from continuing.

However, for some it might be too late. Maybe you already clicked the link and have infected your system. If this scheme tricked you rest assured, you're not alone. Here's what you should do if you think your account might have been affected by today's phishing scam...

  1. Report any and all suspicious emails within Gmail
  2. Switch your password for your email account
  3. CLICK HERE to run a google Security Checkup on your system (I know everybody's on edge but trust us, this link is directly from Google)
  4. Remove any access apps that you don't recognize that may have been granted access to your system.
