It was nearly 25 years ago Sony changed the world of gaming with the Playstation. Now, in 2018 they are set to release the Playstation Classic on December 3rd in the United States. In fact, on December 3rd it will have been 24 years to the day of the system's original Japanese release.

Now we get it again and it could be pretty sweet!

Following the trend set by Nintendo to bring back hardcoded mini systems and calling them "classics", the Playstation Classic will come with 20 games preloaded onto the console including Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms. The rest of the game titles have not yet been released.

The system will cost $99.99 and is approximately 45% smaller than the original console.
