Griffen, Sherels are OUT while Cook & Reiff remain questionable for TNF

With the Thursday night game coming this evening from Los Angeles against the Rams the official final midweek Injury Report has been sent out by the Minnesota Vikings.

With that the team has already ruled out Everson Griffen (knee/not injury related) and Marcus Sherels (Ribs). Both are big losses for the Vikings on the field as Griffen is one of the elite pass rushers in the league and we've seen the poor choices that have occurred on special teams without Sherels back to return.

Beyond those absences, the team also has Dalvin Cook (hamstring), Anthony Harris (hamstring), Riley Reiff (foot) and Tom Johnson (ankle) listed as questionable.

In present day the injury designations no longer carry with them a percentage, but in the past questionable used to be synced with a 50/50 proposition to play. You've got a question in the backfield, a  big question on the offensive line and a depth question on the defensive line listed right there. Pay attention to those parts.

Returning this week it looks like Pat Elflein is expected to start at center for the Minnesota Vikings and David Morgan is also scheduled to return.
